Miranda Lambert... she's my all-time favorite singer. I can't get enough of her. I remember buying her first cd at Target and blasting "Kerosene" with my windows down everywhere I went. I just knew she would be big. I have grown up listening to Dwight Yoakam, Garth Brooks, Reba, and the like so her twang and "outlaw" singing spoke to my soul. Then "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" came out and I couldn't believe it was even better than the first cd. I listened to it so much that cd doesn't even work anymore, ha!
Anyways, all this rambling to say my love for the Queen of Country runs deep. Have you heardher new trio, Pistol Annies? I realize this music isn't for everyone, but if you love Mrs. Lambert and some good 'ole gun shooting, smack talking, Southern music, I know you'll love them too! Here... take a look for yourself!

I love the song Boys from the South, Miranda is great....and I remember the days when Kerosene came out as well - she was (and still is) such a little rebel!

Ahhh! I Love Ms. Miranda so much. My first introduction to the wonderful genre that is country was Revolution, and boy was it a great first cd. Not only does she have a great voice and a wonderful attitude about everything, but she's the epitome of what a southern lady should be. And now to hold us over till her next album Pistol Annies has an equally amazing cd. Great Post!

I'm a new country listener but I love Miranda Lambert. I loved 'Kerosene' when it first released years ago and now I'm obssesed with 'More Like Her' and 'Only Prettier'.
Miranda is awesome! I have just fallen more and more in love with her music as time has gone on - and she is pretty cool herself. She definitely epitomizes a real southern woman ;-)
